The documentary will be officially released at San Jose Mennonite Convention this summer (July 2007). A 45 minute abridged version will be shown Monday night in the Young Adult hall . Segments of it will also be shown in the delegate sessions, and possibly the two BikeMovement seminars.

Content of the Final DVD

BikeMovement – The Documentary A Young Adult Perspective on Church - The final DVD consists of an 80 minute summary of the 2006 BikeMovement trip, and the topics that came up.

Additional Features: Supplementary material that goes into more depth on subjects covered in the documentary.

Short Topical Clips: Short summaries from the documentary 1 to 3 minutes in length. Ideal for church services or meetings where the full-length documentary would be too long. Click Here for an example of these short clips.

The documentary is being sold at through MennoSource for $18 before shipping. All proceeds will be going to Amigos to assist young adults from all over the world to be able to attend the 2009 Mennonite World Convention in Paraguay.

Contact order@bikemovement.org for any ordering questions.

Distribution to Churches

We have received funding to give a free copy of the BikeMovement documentary to every Mennonite USA church! We will be working with Mennonite Mission Network to distribute copies to churches.  This will happen in early September 2007.

We challenge churches, if they find this to be a helpful resource, that they consider supporting the global conversation by making a donation to Amigos.

Thanks for your interest in the BikeMovement documentary project.

Sincerely,
