As a biology major at Eastern Mennonite University I had my sights set on a career as a Physician.  Following an incredible cross-cultural to the Middle East my focus changed.  The possibility of medical school is still on the table but I have decided to take advantage of my youth first.  This year my biology degree has come in very handy as I have worked installing HVAC, selling cell phones, and coaching a high school tennis team.

I am very excited about the possibilities this summer brings.  After living at home for half a year I am ready to explore and create new experiences.  Starting the end of May Nathan Maust and I are driving/backpacking across the country.  This will be an amazing experience but I am really excited about the opportunities which will be present with Bike Movement to create a discussion within a diverse group of young adults.  I believe that within this context systems can be challenged, and changed for the future.  Let the learning begin.
