After spending a relaxing afternoon at his house on 7/17, Russ and his friend Tim Yoder rode with us into Boise, helping to keep us off the main highways. Russ, who is an experienced rider, was very helpful in providing us with maps of Idaho, bike equipment to take along, and advice for road travel. He and his wife Janet attended our conversation at Hyde Park Mennonite, and brought insightful perspectives to the conversation. Russ rode with us the next morning and joined us for lunch before heading back to the city.
